Terms and Conditions
One Day Tours

When travelling on tours into the United States Canadian citizens must have proof of citizenshhip in the form of a birth certificate or passport. Picture ID is also required. Citizens of other countries must have proper documentation to cross the border. Persons refused entry into the United States will be left at the border with no refund of unused services of the tour.
As of January 2008 a passport will be required by everyone travelling by any means into the United States.
No smoking or dinking of alcoholic beverages allowed on the coach
Seating on the coach is on a first come basis - no reserved seating. Front seat by door is reserved for escort
In most cases non-refundable tickets are purchased on your behalf several months prior to the tour. We are unable to refund any monies 60 days or less prior to departure. Priot to that a 25% charge applies on all refunds.
Sol Travel or Murray and Gwen Hunt cannot be held responsible for any inconvenience, loss of enjoyment, upset, dissapointment, distress or frustration whether physical or mental, however caused including non-performance by any artist.
The tour organizer reserves the right to decline any person as a member of the tour at any time before or during the tour should that person's presence be considered detrimental to the interest, comfort and enjoyment of other members. Persons leaving the tour during operation will not receive a refund of unused services
We reserve the right to change any tour as deemed necessary; also to cancel tour without prior notice with no responsibility beyond refund of all monies paid to the passenger which will constitute full settlement.

It is strongly recommended that all passengers purchase our "Cancellation Protection" in the amount of $10.00 per person
which allows cancellation of a one day tour for medical reasons with a doctor's certificate up to and including day of departure.
This may only be purchased at time of buying tickets for tour.

Long Distance Tours

Sol Travel and Murray and Gwen Hunt act solely as organizers of the tours and are responsible for making all reservations and charting the routes as outlined, but it is expressly understood and agreed between the tour organizers and the passengers that neither Sol Travel or Murray & Gwen Hunt nor their agents shall be held responsible for:

Non-performance on the part of any hotel or other accommodations for any act or omission that cannot be directly attributed to the neglect of the tour organizer
Any delays, misconnections, loss, damage or injury to persons or property or for mechanical defects or failures, however caused, or for any substitution of hotels or carrier equipment beyond the control of the tour organizer, or for any additional expenses occasioned thereby.
Any inconvenience, loss of enjoyment, upset, disappointment, distress or frustration whether physical or mental, however cuaaused, except where caused directly by the tour organizer.
Any additional costs incurred or ancillary loss sustained as a result of cancellations or delays to tours caused by inclement weather conditions, acts of God, or any other event, which result in one or more persons being unable to complete the tour. The tour organizers reserve the right to make any changes before or during the tour for the comfort and enjoyment of the passengers and it is agreed and understood that any increase in costs occasioned by such change shall be paid by the passengers or any decrease in costs occasioned by the change shall be refunded to the passengers.

Prices quoted are subject to change without notice. The passenger expressly agrees to pay the tour organizer such additional sum as may result from any such increase in costs and currency exchange rates.

Tour itinerary or artists are subject to change or cancellation without prior notice.

The tour organizer reserves the right to terminate the tour (or remaining part thereof) of any passengers whose inappropriate actions or conduct adversely affects others, including other passengers, tour director/escort, coach driver or employees of establishments visited. Persons leaving the tour during operation will not receive a refund of unused services and costs of returning to the point of embarkation will be up to that person.

We regret we cannot provide individual assistance for luggage, walking, dining, getting or off the motor coach or other personal needs. Persons requiring special assistance must have a traveling companion that is able to provide that assistance. Please advise us at time of booking of any special needs you may have and if you are traveling with mobility aids (walker, scooter, wheelchair, etc). Please note that mobility aids must reach weight and size requirements for travel on coaches and planes.

Federal law prohibits consumption of alcohol or smoking on the bus, Periodic stops will be made to accommodate smokers.

Reserved seating on motorcoach throughout the tour. Seats are reserved at time of booking, and those are the seats that you maintain throughout the tour, unless arrangements are made with other passengers. No regimented seat rotation

PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP

As of January, 2007 a passport is required when traveling into the United States by plane.

As of January 1, 2008 a passport will be required when entering the United States by any means - walking, car, motorcoach, plane, ship and all other means.

It is strongly recommended that if you do not presently have a passport you acquire one as soon as possible if you plan to travel into the United States.

In the meantime Canadian citizens must have proof of citizenship (birth certificate, citizenship papers) when travelling into the states along with photo ID. Citizens of other countries must have a U.S. visa attached to their passport prior to departure of the tour. Landed immigrants must have the proper documentation for entry to the States and also for return to Canada.

Passengers not having proper identification when entering the States will be left at the border, with no refund of any portion of the tour.

Sol Travel and its agents and all passengers agree that the conditions set herein are part of the terms between the passenger and the tour organizer. Deposit given to the tour organizer will represent an acceptance by the passenger of all of the aforementioned conditions.
